Web-master Clinical immunology is a clinical and laboratory discipline which deals with examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients with diseases or pathologic processes, developing as a result of immunodisfunction, as well with cases in which immunologic manipulations are an important part of therapy and / or prophylaxis (communique of the WHO, IUIS, MAACI Experts, 1993).
State Institution “Republican Research Center for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology” organized the ambulant maneuver of allergist-immunologist and inpatient department of immunopathology and allergology. Modern clinical and diagnostic laboratory has a first-class medical equipment, highly qualified professionals who can determine the cause of allergopathology or damaged component of immune system in the shortest time.
Diagnostic and treatment care in the outpatient and inpatient settings is rendered to patients in the following areas:
Primary immunodeficiency (congenital immunodeficiency disorder) is often divided into immunodeficiency with dominance of antibodies defects; combined immunodeficiency, immunodeficiency which is associated with other significant defects, variable immunodeficiency, defects in the complement system, phagocyte incompetence. Abnormal local immunity and small (minor or compensated) anomalies of immune system are also defined.
(Institute of Health, USA, 1998 - 2004)
Secondary immunodeficiency states are associated with the environmentally adverse effects, viral and bacterial infections, protozoal and helminthic invasions, severe diseases, metabolic disorder, alimentation, the influence of immunosuppressants, long-term stress exposure, etc.
Clinical presentations of immunologic deficiency are infectious complications. Clinical course of recurrent herpetic infection, furunculosis, pyoderma, frequent exacerbations of chronic sinusitis, chronic tonsillitis, chronic bronchitis, recurrent urinary tract infection, the ineffectiveness of standard therapy are characteristic features for secondary immunodeficiency states.RRCRM&HE provides the adults and children with immunodeficiency with the necessary advisory, diagnostic and medical care. Today we can identify a possible cause of immunodeficiency, do the replacement therapy with agammaglobulinemia, restore the normal immune system function with secondary immunodeficiency.
About 50% of the world's population is allergic in some kind of form. The patient with an allergy often requires a skilled, fast and effective care. Clinicodiagnostic laboratory of RRCRM&HE has the most modern equipment for diagnostics of allergic diseases, which allows to identify the allergen. Highly skilled allergist-immunologists can help to eliminate or minimize the effects of allergen in the patient with symptomatic or specific therapy, efferent therapy.
The diagnosis of allergic diseases is based on a complex of clinical data, especially the external examination. Allergic anamnesis (individual and familial), the determination of total and specific IgE, identify of eosinophilia with hemogram and smears are important.
