HEMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT FOR ADULTS

Hematology Department for Adults in RRCRM & HE was opened in 2004 and includes 70 beds. Out of them 10 beds are for treatment of patients with acute leucosis under aseptic wards conditions allowing using up-to-date chemotherapy programs including expensive and highly effective preparations.

The personnel of the department have a long-term work experience with the patients suffering from hematological diseases.

The department cooperates with the Marrow Transplantation Department of the 9th Clinical Hospital in Minsk and the Republican Research Hematology and Transfusiology Center providing joint scientific and statistical research including joint treatment protocols of hematological patients.

The department is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technical facilities and provides medical service in the field of diagnostics and treatment of a wide spectrum of blood system diseases:

  • Antineoplastic  and replaceable therapy by blood components at treatment of blood system diseases  using the newest techniques;
  • Computer tomography;
  • Ultrasonic and endoscopy investigations;
  • Various kinds of biopsies;
  • Blood smear and marrow tests , lymph nodes and  other organs imprints, histological preparations;
  • Humoral and cellular immunity analysis ,  hemostasis;
  • Cytochemical and cytogenetic investigations ;

Diagnostics and treatment of patients is provided by highly skilled experts.
