The concept 'extracorporal hemocorrection' is widely used in clinical practice meaning transphysiological operation of the directed changing of cellular, protein, albuminous, electrolyte and gas blood structure by its processing outside the body. The term 'efferent therapy' is used also in literature. It unites various methods directed on decrease of toxicity of organism environment and removing of pathological complexes (circulating immune complexes, myoglobin, and blood corpuscles at hematological diseases) through using of traditional means or modern physicotechnical systems. Removal of pathological complexes, correction and maintenance of a hemostasis are achieved by various methods.
In RRCRM & HE there is a Department of Hemocorrection and Hyperbaric Oxygenation which is equipped with the complex facilities for providing efferent therapy for patients with acute hepatic and renal insufficiency of various genesis, sepsis, system diseases of connective tissue, hematological diseases: devices for hemosorption, hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, hyperbaric systems, etc.
Highly qualified doctors - experts, skilled medical nurses work in the department. The methods of extracorporal blood clarification in combination with other kinds of treatment allow improving patients' health status quickly assisting to their recovery.
The basic methods of treatment used in Hemocorrection Department and Hyperbaric Oxygenation:
Plasmapheresis is a method of extracorporal hemocorrection based on replacement of blood plasma of the patient with the components, blood preparations or blood substitutes.
It is applied in treatment of the following conditions:
Hemodialysis is a method of correction based on a principle of diffuse exchange and filtration transfer of low-molecular substances and water through semipermeable membrane from blood circulating extracorporally into dialyzing solution.
Hemodialysis is applied in treatment of the following conditions:
Hemosorption is a method of extracorporal hemocorrection based on removing of toxic substances of endogenous or exogenous nature from patient's blood by its extracorporal perfusion through sorbent.
It is applied in treatment of the following conditions:
