Center of Preventive Gastroenterology

Is created for: rendering highly qualified medical care to the patients with premalignancies of the gastrointestinal tract

A therapeutist of RRCRM&HE skilled in gastroenterology and specialists of the Polyclinic Therapy Department of the Educational Establishment “Gomel State Medical University” carry out consultative reception at the Center of Preventive Gastroenterology.

Indications for Referral:

  • burdened history in oncopathology of the gastrointestinal tract in genetic relatives of the patient;
  • chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with progressing of mucous tunic atrophy;
  • presence of metaplasia, dysplasia, and dysplasia suspicion according to the data of morphological examination
  • benign tumours of the gastrointestinal tract (polyps, etc.), including recurrent tumours after endscopic (surgical) removal.

  • Immunopathology and Allergology Room

    The room is created for rendering highly qualified expert consultative and diagnostic and medical ambulatory care to the patients with immunopathology.

    Case monitoring and analysis of treatment effectiveness in patients with immunopathology is carried out here. The patients with following diseases consult a doctor:

  • primary immunodeficiency states;
  • secondary immunodeficiency states (recurrent bacterial infections of the skin and subcutaneous tissue (piodermas, abscesses, phlegmons without exacerbation);

    The main tasks of the Room of Metabolic Disorders are rendering highly qualified medical care to the patients with osteopathies and alimentary obesity, and also formation of risk groups in osteoporosis and alimentary obesity development and their follow-up.

    An endocrinologist and an endocrine surgeon of RRCRM&HE carry out consultative reception in the Room of Metabolic Disorders.

    Psychosomatic Day Hospital

    People at the age from 18 till 65 with indications for rendering of specialized psychological and psychotherapeutic and specialized somatic care at out-patient treatment and rehabilitation stage are admitted to the Psychosomatic Day Hospital.
