COVID-19 TRAVEL INFORMATION 

When planning a visit to Belarus, we recommend to get acquainted with the latest information on how coronavirus is affecting travel. We strive to keep this page updated, but this kind of information may be due to change quickly. We therefore ask you to check the relevant official pages before planning your trip.

From May 28, 2022, the procedure for entering the Republic of Belarus is simplified.

Foreign citizens when crossing the border at ground and air checkpoints will be able to arrive in Belarus without presenting PCR tests and documents confirming vaccination against COVID-19. Departure from Belarus is also not limited, PCR tests are not required.

If desired, International department assists and supports in the following cases:  

  • providing of invitation letters
  • visa application support
  • assistance in obtaining exit visas
  • temporary residence in case of long-term treatment
  • temporary registration at Migration&Citizenship department
  • consultation on COVID-19 regulations and restrictions
  • transfer

More detailed information on the procedures for lodging a visa application can be found on the websites of the Belarusian embassy in your country.

Please note that the invitation can only be issued for the dates of your treatment. Applications for long-term visas are issued in exceptional cases when the patient requires prolonged treatment.
