Pediatric Hematology
Pediatric hematology is a branch of medicine that studies diseases of the blood and blood-forming organs in children and adolescents. Currently, many high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods have been introduced into the practice of a pediatric hematologist, developed on the basis of fundamental discoveries in the field of cellular fundamentals, genetics, molecular biology, and clinical pharmacology.
The provision of medical care is carried out in the outpatient and inpatient departments. Oncological hematology department for children (hospital) with 30 beds capacity provides specialized assistance to children and adolescents under the age of 18, and in cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and lymphomas - up to the age of 21. Also the patients are consulted in the outpatient department.

- study of the blood coagulation system (coagulogram, platelet aggregogram, levels of blood coagulation factors, determination of inhibitors to the 8th and 9th coagulation factors)
- study of the immune status by immunophenotyping
